A group of approximately six women staged a silent protest in the Agherton Park area of Ballymoney thid evening (Novembrr 18) following the revelation that a 28-year-old man, accused of multiple sex offences, was residing in the community.
The women gathered outside the property in question, holding placards and calling for Robin Brennan’s removal from the area. Their demonstration was a response to the serious allegations against him, which have raised concerns among local residents.
Police arrived on the scene and engaged in discussions with the group before entering the property to speak with Brennan. Shortly thereafter, both the police and Brennan exited the property and left the area.
Robin Brennan has been charged with inciting a child under 18 to engage in pornography, an offence reportedly committed on a date between February 1 and December 8, 2023. Additionally, he faces charges of making and possessing indecent images of a child, possessing prohibited images, and having extreme pornography during the same timeframe.
The protest highlights the community’s apprehension regarding the presence of individuals accused of such serious crimes and underscores the ongoing concern for children’s safety in the area.
