Samuel McClements, a dedicated volunteer and fundraiser, has been a beacon of hope for families affected by cancer since his own diagnosis in 2013.
Recently, his contributions were celebrated by Room to Reward, a charity dedicated to recognising the selfless efforts of volunteers who dedicate their time to making a positive impact in their communities.
Together with his wife, Maggie, Samuel has organised a variety of fundraising events, including charity walks, hearty big breakfasts, quiz nights, and tribute evenings. In 2025 alone, his efforts led to an impressive £23,000 raised, with ambitions to surpass that figure in the years to come.
Beyond fundraising, Samuel is committed to supporting families navigating the challenges of cancer. He offers invaluable guidance on securing financial support during some of their darkest moments.
