Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council has received plans for an extension to Millburn Primary School in Coleraine.
The planning application, which was recently submitted to council’s planning portal, seeks to install a single-storey extension to provide specialist educational accommodation at the Primary School, at 2 Greenaway Drive in the town.
In their application form the applicant, the Education Authority (EA) Northern Ireland, confirmed that work had not already started, the application was not for temporary permission, and will not see an increase in required parking spaces at the school.
Access will be via an existing, unaltered public road, for both pedestrian and vehicle use, while mains sewers will be used for water and drainage and proposal does not include the gain, loss or change of use of residential units.
