Police have arrested a man following a report of a burglary at a property in the Curragh Road area of Aghadowey shortly after 7.20pm on Sunday, February 15.
It was reported that when confronted, the suspect punched the victim, a man aged in his 30s, in the face. There have been no reports of any serious injuries at this time.
A man, aged in his 50s, was arrested on suspicion of burglary with intent to cause unlawful damage and common assault. He remains in custody at this time, assisting with enquiries.
