Helen Mark MBE says: “BBC cameras will be at locations around the country, capturing the colour, stories, people and spectacle of the Orange Order’s annual 12 July events. Our programme will bring all of that together, giving audiences at home the best view of what’s been happening and the sense of occasion that The Twelfth creates for many families and communities.”

The programme will also provide an insight into the Orange tradition and its role in cultural and community life, with features about a newly formed flute band in Co Armagh, and kiltmakers in Belfast who have been making kilts for many of the Drum Majors taking part in the annual Twelfth parades.

The Twelfth 2026 will be presented by Helen Mark, with commentary from Dr David Hume and Eve Blair.
