TUV has announced it’s council candidates for Ballymoney Councillor Jonathan McAuley and Kirk Wilson
Jonathan McAuley was elected in May 2023 to represent Ballymoney on Causeway coast and Glens council.
Born and brought up in the village of Seacon one and half miles outside Ballymoney. He was educated at Seacon Primary school before moving on to higher education at Ballymoney High school.
With a deep love of the loyalist culture, he is a member of Drumaheagles L.O.L. 1099, Ballymoney Chosen Few R.B.P. 309 and is the treasurer of Junior L.O.L. 99.
A civil servant for the past 25 years and a Councillor for the last three and a half years, Jonathan is very well known and respected throughout the Ballymoney area and further afield.
Joining him on the ticket this time is Kirk Wilson
Kirk was born and raised just outside the village of Cloughmills. He was educated at Cloughmills Primary School and Ballymena Academy before going on to study Law with Politics at Queen’s University Belfast.
Kirk is a proud member of the Orange Order and the Dunseverick Branch of the Apprentice Boys of Derry.
He currently serves on the Board of Governors of Cloughmills Primary School and Ballymoney Model Primary School. Kirk is passionate about serving the Ballymoney area and has a record of getting things done for His local community.
As a young person with fresh ideas and ability, Kirk wants to bring a fresh outlook to Unionism and restore trust between the Unionist community and those who seek to represent it.
