Coleraine town centre will celebrate the final Saturday of summer with a free, family-friendly event this weekend.

Taking place on Saturday, 30th August, the event includes a range of entertainment and activities designed to attract families, residents and visitors into the town.

The programme features live music from local performers Jamie Sloan and Shannon Murphy, as well as a performance by the very popular Causeway Shantymen. Other activities include face painting, an inflatable obstacle course, stories and crafts, and the return of the Jigsaw Petting Farm – a favourite for all ages, with the added opportunity to hold a snake.

Coleraine BID is encouraging visitors to explore the town, relax in the many cafes, and enjoy the mix of over 100 independent shops, businesses and high street favourites.

“This event is about creating a positive atmosphere and encouraging people to spend time in the town centre,” said a Coleraine BID spokesperson. “It’s a simple way to mark the end of summer while supporting our local businesses.”
